The paper addresses machine unlearning in the quantum setting — essentially, how do you make a trained quantum model forget a data point on request (the GDPR “right to be forgotten”), without retraining from scratch? We use sensitivity analysis to identify which variational circuit parameters are most influenced by a sample, then selectively perturb them with differential-privacy-style noise. A small but satisfying piece of work at the intersection of quantum ML and privacy.
